Blessed today to spend time with league legend Duane Mann, who played in the first MMT team (1986).
It’s a Rugby League World Cup year so I’m writing books about league players and teams to encourage kids to read more.
Can’t wait to release the MMT and Toa Sāmoa books. I’ve collected some really inspiring, funny and moving stories from people like Duane and I’m excited that children will soon have these books, hopefully in their own home libraries 😄
Today we launched a new book called Hood Heroes, written and illustrated by children at Flat Bush School, Ōtara.
