Ko te Whenua te Kaiako
Waiohua iwi Te Aakitai are returning te reo Maaori to the whenua (land) through the naming of parks and reserves in Maangere.
Students from Mountain View Primary School worked with local teacher and writer David Riley to write this pukapuka, which celebrates the stories, people and events these names acknowledge.
