“Thank you very much David Riley for teaching us so much about famous Tongan people around the world, and how Tongans make Aotearoa a cool place to live. I especially want to thank you for writing a book about famous Tongan people because you don’t always get to read about famous Tongan people who had changed the world.”

  2. Inoke

“Thank you for helping us to embrace our culture. And we hope that you carry on doing what you do because you’re an inspiration to all the young kids out there, especially the Tongan ones. You have influenced us to achieve our dream and be the first Tongan super star. Thank you very much.”

  3. Lina

“You have made me realize that we can achieve anything in lives. I have been inspired with your work and how you explain things to us so we can understand it. Oku Mau Fiefia i ho’o ngaue. ( We are happy about your work ). We hope you still continue to inspire other young people who think they are not worth anything.”

“This morning a student visited me and said her grandma read the entire book to her last night, that her sisters want to read it too and that everyone at home likes the book.”
